UP Murder: Firing outside Hapur district court, murder of accused who came on production, policeman also injured
An accused, who appeared in the custody of Haryana Police, was shot dead outside the Hapur court. A policeman was also injured in the firing. The police is on the lookout for the miscreants.
Firing in broad daylight in Uttar Pradesh’s Hapur district court stirred up. On Tuesday, a sensation spread due to the shooting of an accused who came to appear in the district court. The accused fled after committing the crime. The police who reached the spot is engaged in the investigation.
According to the information, on Tuesday, one of the accused, who appeared in the custody of Haryana Police, was shot dead outside the Hapur court. Four to five shots were fired at the deceased.
The name of the deceased is Lakhan alias Yashraj son of Manipal resident of village Anangpur Faridabad. Lakhan was an accused in a murder case in Dholana in 2019. The miscreants fired 10 to 15 rounds from the pistol. There is no report of firing from the police. During this, a bullet has also hit the policeman. The policeman was also injured in the firing.
SP Deepak Bhukar said that no police personnel was shot. The number of killers was three. Outside the court, the miscreants carried out the incident on foot and then escaped from the bike parked in the nearby locality Raghuveer Ganj. The police is examining the CCTV footage installed in the locality. IG Praveen Kumar also reached the spot and inquired about the matter.
