UP Cabinet: UP cabinet approves the formation of Eco Tourism Board, Chief Minister will be the chairman
UP cabinet has decided to constitute Eco Tourism Board. Its chairman will be the Chief Minister of the state and the ministers of the concerned department will be its members. On Tuesday, the cabinet gave its seal of consent on 18 proposals.
A total of 18 proposals have been approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday. In the meeting, a decision has been taken to constitute the UP Eco-Tourism Board. It will include 10 departments including tourism, forest, irrigation, horticulture, water, agriculture, rural, AYUSH, urban development, transport. Its chairman will be the Chief Minister of the state while the ministers of the department concerned will be its members. The Chief Secretary will be its secretary. IRCTC and five experts will also be its members.
In the meeting, it has been decided to merge Rajya Vidyut Nigam Utpadan Limited, Jawahar Vidyut Nigam Utpadan Limited and Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited for better coordination in the Energy Department. Most of the hydroelectric projects went to Uttarakhand and the rest joined the thermal, so they are being merged. After the merger, its name will be UP Vidyut Nigam Utpadan Limited.
Mandhata Nagar Panchayat has been constituted in Pratapgarh. The municipality of Jaunpur has been expanded to Mungra Badshahpur. There are now 752 municipal bodies in the state. In which there are 536 Nagar Panchayats, 199 Nagar Palikas and 17 Municipal Corporations.
Changes have been made in the Defense and Aeronautical Policy of the Industrial Development Department. In Bundelkhand 15 percent or 15 crore, in other areas 10 percent or 10 crore, in MSMEs 5 to 7.5 percent or 5 to 7.5 percent crore was given. Now in non-Bundelkhand 7 percent or maximum 500 crore and in Bundelkhand 10 percent or up to 500 crore subsidy will be available. The investment time for mega and anchor industry is 7 years and for the rest 5 years.
All industry policies will be changed a month before the Global Investment Summit of Rs 10 lakh crore in January. Industrial corridors will be built along the expressway.
Permission has been given to give land for setting up a fire station in Rampur.
Food Craft Institute of Aligarh will be upgraded to Hotel Management Institute. 17 new courses will start.
Night safari will be made in Kukrail forest area in Lucknow. There is a forest of 2027 hectares. A zoological park will be built on 150 acres. The existing zoo will be shifted here. Night safari will be built in 200 acres. A consultant will be appointed for this. 6 posts will be created. A consultative committee will be formed under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary and an action planning committee will be formed under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Forest.
– The jail manual of 1947 will be changed. Some changes have been made in it. Now a uniform prison manual is to be implemented in all the states. The new manual will be applicable in this episode.
Now instead of rifle, there will be many modern equipment including pistol, INSAS rifle.
The captive of princely states, black water, European captivity etc. have been abolished.
There will be four categories of jail. Category A will have more than 2000 prisoners, B will have 2000 to 1500, C 1500 to 1000 and Category D will have less than 1000 prisoners.
Earlier, the prisoners used to shave their beards at their own expense, now there will be public order. Prisons will be of high security.
Women prisoners will be able to wear Mangal sutra and salwar suit.
Nutritious food will be given to pregnant women. There will be arrangement of teachers for the education of the children in the jail. Children’s park will be built. Tea biscuits will be available in the evening.
