PM Modi inaugurates Amrita Hospital in Faridabad, said - right development is that which benefits everyone
Industrial city Faridabad got a big gift of medical field in the form of Amrita Hospital on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Amrita Hospital on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that today the country is also trying that the governments should rejuvenate the health and education sector of the country in a mission mode with full sincerity and honesty. For this, social organizations are also being encouraged. An effective PP model is being developed with private hospitals. Many of our other religious institutions are also running such institutes, working on many resolutions. Every section of the society, every organization, every sector is the result of the efforts that we have seen in the time of Corona. You will remember that India had made its own vaccine and some people tried to propagate it. Religious gurus of the country came together and asked people to pay heed to rumours. Then there was faith in the people.

During this, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, Amritanandamayi Math’s chief mother Amrita, Union Minister of State Krishan Pal Gurjar and Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala were present with him.
The hospital has been constructed by Mata Amritanandamayi Mission Trust, although it will be considered as private sector only. But in view of the service spirit image of Maa Amrutanammayi, the principal spiritual guru of the trust, the matter of giving the benefit of this hospital to the financially weak needy at a very subsidized rate is also being talked about by the officials associated with the hospital. What will be its form, it will be known in the coming time. It is the largest private hospital in Asia.

- The hospital built in Sector-88 of Faridabad will be of 2600 beds.
- The first phase will start with 550 beds.
- It will have all major medical facilities, in which 81 special medical facilities will be made available including Archeology, Cardiac Science, Neuro Science, Gastro Science, Renal, Trauma Transplant, Mother and Child Care.
- After the Prime Minister’s inauguration on August 24, this hospital will start with 550 beds the next day.
