Pet dog attacked Zomato delivery boy, victim hospitalized; Thanked God for saving life

A heart-wrenching incident happened in Mumbai on Saturday. In this strange incident, a dog attacked a man badly. A pet German Shepherd bites a Zomato delivery man inside the Indiabulls complex in Panvel. This dog suddenly attacked the private part of the man while getting out of the lift.

The victim has been identified as Narendra Periyar, a resident of Sector 3 Kalamboli, who is 33 years old. The person is in bad condition after the dog bite. Narendra has lost a lot of blood in this attack. Presently the victim is undergoing treatment. He was admitted to DY Patil Medical College and Hospital Nerul on Monday (August 29) evening.
Victim Narendra’s statement
Narendra, who was injured in this heart-wrenching incident, gave his statement in the hospital. He said lying in the male surgical ward, ‘I don’t know, how I survived’ He continued, ‘As the lift came down, I was stunned to see a huge dog as soon as the lift door opened. The very next moment, I realized that the dog had attacked me, I somehow managed to free myself and ran towards the parking area screaming for help.
“I could feel the unbearable pain and felt that I was bleeding profusely. Some people took me to MGM Hospital, Kamote, where doctors stitched up the wounds and gave me anti-rabies injections before being discharged.
The family did not want to send that day to work
The victim said, ‘The evening of the incident, my wife and parents asked me to stay at home, celebrate my younger sister’s birthday. But I came to report on duty. Because we earn a little extra by working on weekends. This was my first delivery that day and my last delivery was to be held at 11 pm.

Narender narrating the story of his pain further said, ‘On Monday (August 29) evening, I was unable to bear the pain and blood was coming out in the urine. But when I came to DY Patil where he is treating me. I am much better now
Who is bearing the cost of the hospital
When asked about the hospital expenses, Narendra said, “The owner of the dog is taking care of all my medical expenses. They were also shocked and could not believe how much the dog had hurt me. I am scared after this incident and will keep myself away from dogs. I don’t even want to go near them. My wife, son and parents are still in shock and thankful that I am alive
