Major accident in Jammu and Kashmir: ITBP bus fell into a gorge in Chandanwadi of Pahalgam, six soldiers martyred

In Chandanwadi of Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, there has been a major accident after a bus full of ITB personnel fell into a gorge. There were 39 jawans in the bus. Six jawans have been martyred in the accident, while thirty jawans are injured.

A major accident has happened in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. A bus full of ITB personnel fell into a gorge in Chandanwadi of Pahalgam. Six jawans have been martyred in the accident, while 30 jawans have been injured. Rescue and relief work is on. 19 ambulances are stationed at the spot.

According to the information, a bus was taking ITBP jawans from Chandanwadi to Pahalgam. The bus fell into the ditch due to brake failure. There were 39 jawans in the bus. 37 jawans belonged to ITBP and two jawans belonged to Jammu and Kashmir Police.

It is being told that all the soldiers were on the duty of Amarnath Yatra. The jawans were returning after the end of the Amarnath Yatra. Meanwhile, the bus fell into the river after brake failure. Rescue operation is on.

According to the police, six ITBP personnel were killed while several others were injured in a road accident near Chandanwadi Pahalgam in Anantnag district. Those who are being taken to the army hospital Srinagar for treatment. 

On the bus accident, ITBP’s PRO said that six of our jawans have lost their lives, while 30 have been injured. We are providing all possible treatment to the injured. ITBP HQ is monitoring the situation. The jawans were returning from Amarnath Yatra duty. All possible help will be given to the families of the martyred soldiers.
