A suicide attack has taken place near the Russian embassy in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan. 20 people have died in the blast near the entry gate of the embassy. Two Russian diplomats are also said to be among the dead.
According to the news agency, the security forces have killed the attacker. Police said the suicide bomber was shot dead before reaching the embassy gate. Taliban security forces standing outside the Russian embassy had identified the attacker. Then shot him. A total of 20 people have died in the blast.
