A visually impaired software engineer from Madhya Pradesh got a job of Rs 47 lakh per annum

A 25-year-old visually impaired software engineer from Madhya Pradesh has got a job package worth lakhs of rupees. The world’s famous IT giant Microsoft has made this proposal. The company is giving Rs 47 lakh annually to the visually impaired engineer. A Microsoft company official gave this information.
The official said that Yash Sonakia has completed his BTech degree from Indore. He said that Yash has received an offer from Microsoft for a salary package of Rs 47 lakh.
Talking to news agency PTI, Sonakia, who got a job worth lakhs, said that he has accepted the offer. Will soon work as a software engineer in the company’s Bangalore office. However, initially they have been asked to work from home.
Study with the help of screen-reader software
At the age of just eight, Yash lost his eyesight due to glaucoma. Yash told, ‘After completing my studies with the help of screen-reader software, I started looking for a job. After learning coding, applied to Microsoft. After an online test and interview, I have been selected for the post of Software Engineer in the company.
Had glaucoma a day after birth
Sonakia’s father Yashpal, who runs a canteen in the city, said his son had developed glaucoma a day after his birth. Due to this Yash could see very little with his eyes.
Father Yashpal said, ‘My son completely lost his eyesight at the age of eight, but we did not give up as he wanted to become a software engineer.’
Dream of becoming a complete engineer after a long struggle
Yashpal taught his son in a school for children with special needs up to class 5. Thereafter he got him admitted in a regular school. Here one of his sisters helped him in studies. Helped sister especially in maths and science subjects.
